Senior Embedded Systems Engineer
Seeking a full-time Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to join our team in Albuquerque, NM to assist in the support of product development of sensors and intranets in the areas of condition-based monitoring, situational awareness, signal intelligence, artificial intelligence, (AI), safety, and embedded systems.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, aeronautical engineering, or equivalent
• Qualification of airborne systems
• Strong documentation skills
• Design experience involving A/D, D/A, and microcontrollers
• Strong understanding of electronic systems and systems integration
Experience Desired
• Small electronics systems design
• Design experience involving microcontrollers, SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO, Ethernet, and WiFi.
• Mixed-signal product design and development for military aircraft, ground vehicles, and support equipment
• FPGA experience in both VHDL and schematic design flows
• Successful design of a variety of products for environmental, FCC, and CE compliance
• Experience in design for military environment, commercial aircraft, military aircraft, ground vehicles, or support equipment
Performance Expectations
A strong EE will be hands on contributor and will lead projects around the electrical design of microprocessor-based circuits, integration of SOC on PCB’s, and mixed signal and digital interfaces.
Senior Embedded Systems Engineer Position
The ideal candidate will:
• Lead a small team of junior engineers, PCB layout, and lab technicians on some projects
• Take a concept to design manufacturing
• Have experience in taking a product from R&D to manufacturing
• Design, test, and validate prototypes
• Have experience with Configuration Management
• Provide Quality Control and Quality Assurance
• Interface with suppliers of components
• Assist with proposals, scheduling, and cost estimating using PC tools
• Have experience in CAD design of circuits, modules, and processors
• Have a working knowledge of FPGA
• Travel occasionally throughout the USA, rarely overseas about once or twice a year on average

Salary: $88,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
Schedule: 40 hours/week Monday – Friday in office (not remote) with the ability to flex time.
